What to Expect
Stepping into our office feels like coming home, not like nervously meeting strangers. Our goal is to eliminate any apprehension you may be feeling and build a relationship that can go the distance.
We’ve found that one of the best ways to have successful patient relationships is to explain everything in advance. No surprises! The more you understand who we are, what we do, and why we do it, the better results you’ll enjoy. It’s as simple as that.
Your First Visit
Our friendly office staff is ready to greet you by name when you walk through our doors. If you haven’t already filled out our New Patient form at home, you’ll complete it in our waiting room. We use this information to guide your course of care.
You will then be brought in for your consultation with the doctor. Dr. Rob will talk with you about your past and present health.
After discussing your health concerns, we’ll do a complete chiropractic exam, so we have an accurate assessment of your present state of health and how we can help you. Your exam consists of:
- Range of motion testing
- Orthopedic and neurological tests
- A pelvic balance scan
- Static and motion palpations
- Other chiropractic tests
If any other diagnostic tests like X-rays or MRIs are necessary, we’ll schedule them at this time. After discussing your health concerns and completing the chiropractic exam, Dr. Rob will go over the findings from your exam and his recommendations for your care plan, explaining what a course of care will consist of specifically for you.
After your report of findings, you will receive your first adjustment.
Regular Visits
A typical visit usually requires just a few highly focused minutes.
Don’t think the brevity of a regular visit lessens its value. With the groundwork laid, we can quickly size up what your spine and nervous system need, adjust you, and get you on your way.
Like a regular workout at the gym, each visit builds on the ones before. Miss a visit, and we can lose the momentum necessary to make the needed changes. We recognize your time is valuable. We do everything possible to stay on time and minimize the impact on your busy life.
